As from April 2015 the practice has been obliged to allocated a named accountable GP to every patient. This named GP has overall responsibility for the patient's care and will ensure that appropriate services are delivered to patients. If you do not know who your named GP is, and you wish to find out, please contact our reception staff who will be able to help.
Please note that having a named GP does not mean that you will be able to see them every time you visit the practice. It may be more appropriate for you to see another clinician, who can then involve the named GP, if they feel it necessary. We have adopted this approach in order to provide the named GP with time to manage the more complex care required by some patients, while other clinicians are able to deal with the less complex cases.
Should you not be happy with the named GP you have been allocated, please let us know and we shall endeavour to allocate another, although this cannot be guaranteed.
